i knew politics would come up in one of the blogs i read, but wasn't expecting it in yours. as a white 20-something woman i hope you're not voting for mccain/palin just because she's female and you think she can relate to you. be sure to look deeper into it...
she is probably voting for McCain/Palin because she has republican views, ya think? the fact that Palin is female is a bonus. oh, and i like how you posted anonymously
this isn't (or wasn't) a political blog as far as i knew and i'm just saying i liked it that way. you had some great pointers on family life and i enjoyed reading them and, yes, i'll happily take my blog reading time elsewhere.
i have a wonderful sense of humor, but vaginas and "palin" moose onesies aren't going to get our economy out of the crapper. that's not laughable.
i am (was) fairly new to your blog, but yes, i check(ed) it regularly (from a few locations, thank you) after finding you through money saving mom.
my name is heather, i'm a 27-year-old white woman from philadelphia who likes writing in lowercase letters and will be voting for obama/biden november 4th because they are vastly more in tune with the reality of my life than a 70-year-old millionaire by marriage and a woman who only just got a passport last year because you now need one to go to canada.
and thanks for being so open to your readers viewpoints, you obviously appreciate a varied fanbase. how's that for humor.
Heather, I don't blame the host for getting offended by your initial anonymous remarks. Why? Because you started off accusing her, indirectly, of not being able to decide on a candidate based on issues. You erroneously assumed it had only to do with identity politics. You boxed her in an "idiot" category, perhaps unknowingly, but that is exactly how I read your comments.
Heather, there are a lot of varying opinions on election politics and you never gave Carrie a chance to even justify hers. You just flippantly dismissed her and her blog with disgust because of the t-shirt. If you are that easily offended by a cute t-shirt (not an insult of anyone's opposing viewpoints, btw), then you probably shouldn't come back to this blog until you thicken your skin and grow up.

You're very welcome!
What I appreciate is readers who aren't patronizing and condescending.
Buh-bye now...
