Uh, ok, it's mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil? I can't figure out what is the green on it. And the spices could be basil, or tiny oregano??? You GOTTA help a girl out here you can't cook!

It is Tomatoes, Mozzarella, Olive Oil, Salt & Pepper, and Basil.

The spices you see is just freshly cracked black pepper and the basil is the green. The basil is done in a chiffonade. You stack the leaves flat on top of each other and then roll up the leaves tightly and then cut.

A lot of people have talked about balsamic on this particular salad, Insalata Caprese, but I am a purist and like the simple flavor of just the olive oil.
