Christmas Treats

My family across the country certainly enjoyed all of the time that I spend perusing blogs! I made Peppermint Marshmallows and homemade Hot Cocoa Mix that I found on Little Birdie Secrets and used gift tags found on Tricia-Rennea Art!

I also made half of an English Toffee Recipe I found on Tip Junkie, but I ate most of it before I could get it bagged up to send--oooooops! So don't tell my family, but I only sent one person toffee!

Actually, I made it for me (and I didn't get any pics because I snarfed it down so fast) and as an afterthought, I sent it to my sister-in-law because she said she wanted some!

By the way, what kind of person on Weight Watchers makes themselves English Toffee? I think I may have brain damage... Toffee is butter and white sugar covered in chocolate. BIG no-no's on WW!

All I know is that I used every single flex point allocated to me that week. By the way, I've lost 18.4 lbs in two months! Even with all the toffee!

Chugga-chugga-choo-choo! Getting back on track here folks... Here's what their treats looked like!

I am glad you are back! I haven't been around much lately but now life is starting to calm down for me -- so here I am to bug you again!

See that's exactly why I haven't started...it would have been torture to make it but not be able to eat it.

At least that's my excuse now.

I quit WW right before the holidays - could stand the pressure. Did pretty good though with out it - I didn't gain anything, but I didn't lose anything either :(

Everyone has to indulge here and there...otherwise, I think it's too tempting to give up. Congratulations on losing over 18 pounds! I too have started watching what I'm eating a little over a week ago. I've lost 5 pounds. I haven't done WW, but I'm seriously considering it. (Need that accountability.)

BTW, thanks for stopping by my site. I am one of Angie's sisters. She comes from a family of 5 kids so you'll see us all show up on her blog here and there. We actually started blogging at the same time. I am not as near committed as she is. There's just no time. :)

Oh, and I wanted to let you know, I love your blog name! Glad I didn't have to take that class in school. Me thinks I would have failed. So cool that you are an opera singer. Sounds like you are one multi-talented lady!

Have a great day!

Congrats on your weight loss! That is just wonderful...and to do that during the Christmas season...wonderful!

I so need to get on a program. Because the procrastination and apathy plan isn't exactly working.

hi you! Thanks so much for making us feel so special!!! LOVE THE TOFFEE!!! It's so good and i can tell it's low fat and sugar free! ha! The marshmallows are so good and pretty! I ate one alone, haven't tried the coco yet....when the package came I thought everything was dirty, but it was just the coco. There was a rip in the bag so it got on everything...was even INSIDE the marshmallow bag! But I cleaned it all up! Not too much was lost. E's heart purse was the worst, I have to wash it before i give it to her. She loved her necklace and earings and candy! Thanks for the lovely xmas/valentine gift! You're so thougthtful!!! LOVE YOU!
