yum yum yum ok I dont know if you live in UT but if so there is this italian deli across from pioneer park in slc that has the BEST mozz I have ever had so so so good.
It is Tomatoes, Mozzarella, Olive Oil, Salt & Pepper, and Basil.
The spices you see is just freshly cracked black pepper and the basil is the green. The basil is done in a chiffonade. You stack the leaves flat on top of each other and then roll up the leaves tightly and then cut.
A lot of people have talked about balsamic on this particular salad, Insalata Caprese, but I am a purist and like the simple flavor of just the olive oil.
YUM! going to by some tomatoes and mozz now
ReplyDeleteOMG that is my alltime fav, with a little balsalmic reduction on it :)
