Because One Wasn't Enough

Here's our Christmas Tree.

And because I could be classified as criminally insane, here's the second tree that is on our upstairs landing.

And since I tend to overdo everything, I'm going to be appearing pretty sparsely the rest of the week while I get ready to host a Christmas party on Saturday. My motivation to get everything done ahead of time is a friend's party on Friday night. I need a little Christmas cheer too, ifyaknowwhatimsayin...

LOVE them both! I checked on hopping on a plane... whew! Major bucks. But what I wouldn't give to hop a plane and come up and help you. I would be happy to play with midget and help you this week. Although I have a feeling we wouldn't get a THING done... except get in trouble.

Very pretty! My best bud usually puts 3 up, one on each level of her home. One is sparsely decorated with nothing but lights and garland...in the beginning. By the time Christmas is here, it's fully decorated. It takes time because this is the tree that she puts on it the Christmas cards received that year.

I gave up on the two-tree thing a couple of years ago, because I can barely make it through one tree with my mind still intact! (four kids "helping", lights never working...'nuff said.)

Your trees are GORGEOUS though ~ next year, why don't you stop over here is Amish Country and you can decorate mine too. 'Kay?? ;)

Is this where I out myself on having 6 trees? Yes. Six. I have a serious problem.

LOVING this music, too, Carrie. When are we going to hear YOU singing opera, by the way?

How do you multi-tree mommies do it?!? I was tired after just decorating ONE. LOL

beautiful trees, Carrie! I think those with a flair for Christmas decor should put up as much of it as they like...and from the other comments here, it doesn't sound like 2 is excessive at all :) Merry Christmas!

Two trees?! I'm so jealous!! We no longer put trees up because we travel during the holidays. I miss decorating for the holidays.

Cute! I've always thought it would be fun to do a less traditional tree but haven't yet. With the white tree, walls, angel & railing your picture looks like a b&w with the red pulled through, neat looking. Have a great week! Hope your parties are fun =]

Insane is an accurate description but the trees are beautiful.

Your first tree is gorgeous and your second reminds me of the flocked ones we used to get as kids!
